Three Springs Wayne County CLOSES!!!

Three springs finally closed the wayne county program!!! lack of funding from department of juvenile justice and lack of kids being sent by the department of juvenile justice forced the facility to close!!!!!!!!!!!!!

not sure about semper fi... but as for the rest of the counselors, not sure either, i'll ask the lady next door eventually, if i happen to run into her....

plus semper fi was corporate.. he probably took his ass back to three springs in alabama

Was this facility closed because less kids were getting arrested or because the Facility was getting a bad rep for being abusive? or both?

Looks like they have 9 programs. Which one closed? Which is Wayne Co?

I thought they had a wilderness program in Ga. Did they in the past? Noticed that Eckerd has two in Ga.

i believe they took away their "programs" in georgia.  the programs in georgia were entirely funded by the state department of juvenile justice.  The DJJ stopped sending kids to three springs.

UPDATE:  3 springs dumped their employees over at wayne county.  I still do not know if blue ridge closed or not.  the new place is abundant life academy (yet another troubled teen place) and the academy will be "interviewing" all wayne county threesprings employees if the employees want the interview.  basically i think its a "courtesy".

Blue Ridge closed this summer and so did 2 of their other programs.  Turning Point and one other program in GA.

GA cut state funding rates on the GA facilities and Turning Point just has never been that successful at keeping children.
