Anybody notice how when the things get a little too hot in the kitchen, somebody comes on and calls everybody a schizo? Or accuses them of having a "vendetta"?  Of hating ALL programs and being "unrealistic"?  It's a crock, I tell you.  Ain't no schizo's hanging out at Fornits, but even if there were - so what?  They probably have more brains than your average ed con or programmie parent.

What made them become schizos?
« Reply #12 on: November 10, 2006, 03:33:05 AM »
We have a bunch of nice children. They become teenagers and then it should be normal to put a label on their forhead with the text "BRAIN DEPARTMENT CLOSED DUE TO REBUILDING".

Most caring parents then know that all kind of statements from the child is quite damaged as a result of that rebuilding. So a statement like: "Something funtamential in my life is bordering me so I need space in order to think" comes out like "Fuck off.".

That should not alarm us. Alcohol consumption should not. However, we should monitor it a by our own conduct show them the way.

Sexual engagement should either if the last one is done with someone of their own age.

(In Denmark, sex is allowed for children from the age of 15 and alcohol is allowed for them to buy on their own from the age of 16. There are no lower limit for them to drink if their parents buys the alcohol.)

But some parents are obdurated and then the trouble starts if they choose not the discuss the problem in a civil manner.

"Nobody can fix a problem that they do not acknowledge."

That means that you can say over and over again that you are worried and that a certain behavior needs to change and the behavior would not change until the child accepts your argument.

That whole process can not be evaded without damaging the child.

If you truely want to create a schizo:

* Just call the transport team without ever talking with your child about what worries you.
* Write a absurd letter to them about love and affection while you are forcing them to break rule number one given to a child "Do not go with a stranger!"
* Do not talk with them on a daily basis from day number one, they are gone.
* Do not visit them after maximum a week.
* Don't check every claim of abuse right at once and pull them if it is not proven to be a fake beyound the reason of doubt.
* Do not take them back in your home regardless of succes or failure after the first program.

Of course there can situations where you feel that you can not reach your child and you needs professionel help. That why family programs have been invented. Go to the desert with professional guidance.

Some parents then truely learns that it is themselves that are unwilling to cope with changes. (Which actually were shown on Television "Family Brat Camp" (TwentyTwenty productions) where a mother could not endure the desert and pulled her family out even when the child were improving.).

But then there is a reason for the childs behaviour. A reason that is easy spotted in a mirror. There is nothing more to fix and you can let your child die if that is the path the behaviour would led to.

We do not have suchs program, where I live. They would be outlawed even before they start and the employees would be convicted as child molesters.

Does it make my society more violent? No it does not.

So my point is. If the posters here in this forum truely are schizos, would it not be more safe for your society to stop the use of such program generally?

Then there will not be any new schizos!

Well said, Overgaard.

The anti-schizo-pro-program poster is clearly intimidated by Fornits and our fine group of independent thinkers.  Rampant talking out of group does tend to upset the programmies and program parent advocates, ya konw.
