Friends, this weekend has been five years since Tom Crossslin and Rollie Rohm accepted martyrdom at Rainbow Farm, Vandalia Michigan, in the cause of freedom -- for those who choose to use mj or not.

They chose to die on their land, rather then submit to legal tyranny.

MI-NORML Vice President Melody Karr in an earlier posting to this list, summarized the result of the groundwork Tom and Rollie plowed in this state. Melody knows this situation very well, having been there and done that, in the best sense of the word. We are determined, willing and able to move forward,  to savor  the victory and take the hit(s) as necessary.

As Executive Director of MI-NORML, I would urge every person reading this posting to purchase the book "BURNING RAINBOW FARM" by Dean Kuipers, published by Bloomsbury, a reputable American publisher and available instantly from: MINORML.ORG

Consider reading this book from cover to cover, as a what to do and not do, when fighting legal government malfeasance.

Essentially this is a biography of Tom and Rollie, and how Rainbow Farm evolved over a number of years, into a serious threat to the marijuana status quo in Michigan, which many of us want to reform.

As is now public record in the book itself; the following distinguished
members of Michigan NORML (and former members) are mentioned in print along with other respected personalities.

MI-NORML members and supporting characters etc., are as follows: Melody Karr, Trena Moss, Adam Brook, "Marvin Marvin" Surowitz, Rev. Steve Thompson, Adam Zielony, John Sinclair, Jay Statzler, Stephanie Loveless (aka Tom Ness) and Greg Schmid.

National personalities in the book include: Allen St. Pierre, Keith
Stoup, Jack Herer, Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, Steve Hager, Ben Masel, Chris Conrad, Mikki Norris, Dana Beal, Ed Rosenthall, Elvy Musikka, Gatewood Galbraith, Peter Lewis, Chef Ra, Gov. Jennifer Granholm, and  Dick DeVos.

 Please consider reading this book.

Best regards,

Tim Beck
