PLEEEZZZE leave Izzy and CAICA out of the rumor mill.

It is true.
It wasn't suicide or foul play.
He had an enlarged heart and it is thought that this is propbably what killed him. The ME's report isn't in yet. I'm told his mom called him around noon and he seemed fine. When she got home from work around 6 he had died.

This is such sad news - Layne was a very sweet kid - I liked him a lot.

Well, considering how many kids do kill themselves AFTER getting out of a program, or being threatened with being sent back to one, that we DON'T EVEN KNOW ABOUT, it's important to at least get the facts straight so as to underscore the reality of the damage these programs can do long after the kid gets out.

Parents need to know their children can get seriously depressed and suffer from PTSD when released from these hell holes, not just think everything is A-OKAY.

OMG, thank you so much BK. Can you find out where one would send flowers or their condolences?  I hope someone will start a thread on one of the TB forums.  Layne was a brave kid.  He will not be forgotten.

Thank you, Karen.
That is very sad, for this mom to loose her son; and for the untimely death of this young man.
Appreciate you letting everyone know what happened.
