To the broken-hearted mother: I'm sorry that you have suffered such a loss. You have my sympathy, but I must point out that marijuana and heroine and all drugs for that matter are simply tools. The outcome of the use of the tool is determined by the tool user. No tool is inherently good or bad, it's value is determined by the skill and intent of the user. In other words marijuana and heroine are not to blame. Your son is.
Anyway, if I were to assume your logic for a minute I would argue that oil is the scariest and most deadly addiction on the planet; the wars and the pollution on a global scale, and the world-wide social oppression. The damage caused by heroine and other drugs pales in comparison to the devastation caused by ruthless oil addicts. It's ironic to me that we lock up heroine and coke and marijuana users but we put an oil cartel in the white house. What a bunch 'a' brainwashed idiots most Americans are.
Even oil is just a tool though. Oil, like any tool cannot make decisions and bears no responsibility itself. It is the people who unjustly wield it that are the source of so much suffering in the world. Know what I'm sayin' ??
