There are a few things I've been wonderin'...

Is the media gonna be invited too, or what is the situation with that ??  ...

God I hope not.  I thought this was supposed to be a private gig, not a protest or for any purpose other than honoring and saying goodbye to old friends.  I really would be sorry to see this turned into something else.

Yeah.  But we should have someone there whose sole purpose is to document the event on video and/or stills.  Then maybe we could set up a memorial website, just an idea.

If you would have justice in this world, then begin to see that a human being is not a means to some end.  People are not commodities.  When human beings are just to one another government becomes obsolete and real freedom is born; SPIRITUAL ANARCHY.

I'd like to sell some T-shirts at this event since it didn't pan out the last time.

That works for me. There are other times to generate publicity.    I just thought it should remain private.  Documenting it for our own purposes, great.

I think one invitation that mentions all the events is ok...

Yeah, like Maybe list the different venues at the bottom of the invite instead of at the top ???

well, I would somehow like something documented...

But when I try to imagine being there and hearing someone's father talking about how his was after Straight Incorporated, how he struggled and finally killed himself, how his family has grieved ever since...

When I put myself in that man's shoes I don't want any cameras or video tape or reporters..

But maybe it won't be that kind of service, I don't know what people need or want for this event, so I can't really see how appropriate it would be to record. Maybe we play it by ear, I have an idea for the schedule, but who knows what could really happen.

I understand.  I still think there should be some documentation.  Maybe filming the whole thing wouldn't be appropriate.  Maybe there could be a part of the ceremony, maybe right in the middle when we could turn off the camera so people will feel comfortable speaking of their personal loss.

We do not intend to invite the media to the St. Petersburg memorial service, other than announcing the memorial in the calendar of events sections of local newspapers, and possibly on public radio.  Again, we would like to stress that all survivors of all branches of Straight, Inc. are welcome, this is not limited to St. Petersburg survivors.

The location of the St. Petersburg memorial service will be announced in the next few days,  we sincerely hope that all who wish to attend will do so.

Same goes for the Springfield service.  All survivors,  and their supporters/friends, loved ones are more than welcome.
