Wow, they didn't re-hire any of the old crew, huh. I was there 6 years ago and I don't recognize a single person there. They say on the main page that they actually have real professionals working there now (talking about Ascent...didn't check out NWA's page). The boarding schools were a complete mindfuck, but I always thought that Ascent could be beneficial in many cases if it was run by people who knew what they were doing. I mean seriously, kids that are just straight up fucking up need a swift kick in the ass like a wilderness boot camp.

Where were you six years ago? Ascent or NWA? I too was there about 6 years ago. I noticed that there weren't too many staff members that I knew. Just a teacher and the outdoors dude at NWA. So I thought that was interesting. Maybe under new management the place will actually be a good place. Who knows. Stranger things have happened.

I was at Ascent 5 1/2 years ago (Nov '99 - Jan '00) years ago, I didn't go to NWA. I don't remember any of those people there, maybe the commissary chick, but I only saw her when I was getting there and too freaked out to remember anyone, or leaving to go to BCA and too pissed off to remember anyone.
