It has been a few years since I have read Quinn, but this forum jogged my memory. I appreciate the link--it was good to once again read his description of the vast underlying problem in our society. His parable children story was a great way of showing that third-person point of view of the teen industry. His ability to simplify a semilingly overwhelming concept allows for a solution. I dont think the solution for the teen industry is going to be accomplished by an agency, or a group. I think it will be one by one. Luckily, we have a forum to spread the information quickly. If more parents asked themselves 'WHAT is it my child needs', before succumbing to easy way out (setting more regulations or sending them to a facility based on regimenting life), there may be more solutions on an individual basis then an industry wide answer.
