Anyone been through Lakeview?

I went through treatment in Bountiful Utah called Lakeview hospital.Did anyone else go through?

I did not attend Lakeview,I am a survivor of Straight-Atlanta. I am quite interested in the goings on at Lakeview, tho, as I live north of there in North Ogden. Would like to hear from you if you are interested in discussing this place.

Hello - I have not been thru lakeview, but I too am a grad of Straight St. Pete.  I am very interested in hearing 'bout the "treatment methods" used at lakeiveiw.

I went through Lakeview in 1991.I was there for 5 months or so.They had no clue how to help me.I lied all the time as I didn't think I had a problem.When I got caught lying so I had to walk around with a garbage can tied to my wrist so everyone knew I was full of shit.When I had a temp of 104 they didn't believe me and gave me no medical attention even though I was in a hospital.These are a couple of things that happened I will write more again later.

We used to have to attend Sex Addicts meetings and 1 old guy would come every week and tell us how he had sex with donkeys,his son etc.I think he got off on telling us.

I never tal about Lakeview but it was abusive.It has closed down after I left but some counsellors started a place called Introspect or something like that. I need to talk to others who went through there.

I didn't see substance abuse on their list of treatment areas, maybe they decided to get away from that area of treatment.

They do treat irritable bowel syndrome.  I wonder how you use your steps for that problem.

That name is obviously wrong.I ,looked at the site briefly and don't know the psycologists. Maybe it ia now retrospect....I don't know but I do know it was Lakeview in the 1990s.
