I must question the effectiveness of the AARC program...
JUST KIDDING. I will be celebrating 10 years of sobriety on May 29th of this year.
For you Meatheads:
-No, I do not go in there every day
-Yes I have many friends in the program
-Yes I have had difficult times during sobriety
-No I did not require drugs or alcohol to solve them.
-Oh, and no; Noone at Aarc ever touched my bum or beat me up.
So I guess the only purpose of the post was to maybe present some realistic evidence of good things that can come out of the program.
I'm starting to wonder if some of you are wishing you maybe stuck it out? Is the resentment getting old? Sure... I got mad at Aarc for a while... they did disallow smoking and drug use but that anger sorta dissipated when my head cleared up on step 2.
