Question for HLA parents

<< < (5/8) > >>

Deborah:
May take a civil suit.
ECs in Tx must be licensed to refer out-of-state. After several days of deliberating, the authorities responded that Mrs Hall was not in violation because she had not 'physically' delivered my son to Ga.

Further, she knew nothing, and I mean nothing, about my son or HLA. She hadn't even met my son. Gave a referral over the phone, and the recommendation was based on 'the owner's reputation'.

One action that may be useful is to lobby for more stringent requirements for EC. Require them to fully investigate the programs they refer to. Are they licensed/monitored by the state? Any allegations of abuse, deaths/accidents? What specific techniques and methods of BM are employed? Do staff possess the required credentials?

For $3000 they should be required to do a little more than provide a phone number.

Anonymous:
really need to get an expose on the whole sordid mess, on television.

Say, the EdCon connection, the schools' brutality, the whole group of programs and schools, and with a focus on HLA, as there seem to be chinks in their armor developing. NBC has their Dateline shows, they seem to like kid oriented topics, and the shows are to my limited knowledge, a full hour on the topic. Parents should hammer NBC with (true)tales to see if they can get them to focus on this critical issue.

the whole EdCon connection is appalling, they need to be made responsible for what they do. I know the parents and guardians sure feel agony for allowing their children to go through these experiences. It is terrible in particular that the parents and guardians helped put the children in these schools, wanting to help their children. To have them hurt by the experience is unbearable.

And that is nothing compared to what the children have gone through in so many cases.

RobertBruce:
I never at anytime spoke to or met my ed con. She never came to the school, didnt know a thing about it.

Anonymous:
But she 'knew' where you belonged RB? how did she come to be employed to send you there? She knew niether you , or the school.....

RobertBruce:
Such details are inconsequential.

So long as both she and the Buch got paid, that is all that matters.
