Giving to those in need
« on: December 14, 2002, 06:23:00 PM »
While we were out Christmas shopping, some poor, lost soul just spent about 20 minutes spamming the board with over 300 copies of the same pointless message.

We've banned a range of IPs in order to prevent this particular kind of abuse. Of course, it's not that difficult to get around. And, if he/she is terribly determined to demonstrate his maladies, I'm sure we'll be hearing more of the same. Give a man a fish, as they say, and he eats for a day. Teach him to use the net and he won't bother you for weeks!

This person obviously is in desperate need of a life. If anyone knows who this poor unfortunate soul is, maybe we could throw in and buy one for him?

It has ever been my experience that folks who have no vices have very few virtues
