Do you have any idea how much of America (CA, CO, AZ, NM, and TX) was Mexico until we wrested it away? Do you know how often in history our government makes it easy for Mexicans to work here because they will do labor our lazy asses won't? And then when it isn't convenient, they crack down? Do you have any idea of how few Mexicans actually have ANY health or other governmental benefits because they don't want to rock the boat? Do you know how many Americans on welfare are white?
I'm mostly Irish potato but my my family's Mexican history in NM goes way, way further back than America's assumption of the area.
And you got something against bilingualism? Part of our problem internationally is we have our heads so far up our ignorant asses we think the Masai tribe of Kenya should be speaking English. Would it absolutely kill us to be more culturally aware and linguistically capable?
Whatever. Let's just fucking bomb the Statue of Liberty and her placard that reads, "Give Us Your Tired, Your Poor, Your Hungry...."
