Been to Baghdad lately?

Anyone out there been to Baghdad or IZ over the past couple of years and take out some STR8 frustration on the terrorists? Was over there in early '04 doin' my part, seeing some shit and releasing that frustration...

11B man, but never felt secure the whole time over there. Always worried about some little shit bastard poppin off something from a bridge or can or trash from the side of the road. BIAP wasn't bad, except for the occassional mortar that came in. Man, you never knew if the next one was for you or not. That, and everyone you ran into on the road or out patrolling would look at you and smile, but you never really knew if they were going to take the next shot.
   Folks doin a lot of bitchin in here about life, but I don't think they'd like to spend time over there. I have a rough time driving down roads here, sometimes thinking that I'm gonna get hit under the next overpass or the trash bag on the side of the road is an IED. And 4th of July suckes with all the damn firecrackers and shit goin off. Talk about soem deep down repressed shit...
