Reptile House - Listen to the Power Soul EP

Reptile House - I Stumble as the Crow Flies EP

Intricate interplay between guitars on the track "Powersoul"...both records are great.  They got some good-looking kid handling  guitar duties on Listen to the Power Soul, looks like a friend of mine...

Froderick, have you ever checked out any of the other "shoegazer" bands such as Swervedriver (key track: "Never Lose That Feeling"; the album Ejector Seat Reservation) or Ride (check out the Nowhere LP)?   Good stuff, has a real "druggie" vibe.......recommended.

Some music on WZBT (Gettysburg); I'm clueless as to who made this music...there was this driving, jittery drone thing going in 440 A, with a drum machine set to a beat similar to the beat in the song "Run Like Hell" (Pink Floyd) with some tasteful guitar noise, a sort of Hendrixy feedback over top of the whole thing...it lasted at least 20 minutes..gotta love college radio!

Pere Ubu--The Modern Dance

Nation of Ulysses - Spectra Sonic Sound / Look Out! Soul is Back / Cool Senior High School (Fight Song)

The Rolling Stones (from Get Yer Ya-Ya's Out!): Juming Jack Flash / Midnight Rambler / Sympathy for the Devil / Live with Me / Honky Tonk Women / Street Fighting Man

A few songs by Daniel Johnston

Black Market Baby - "Youth Crimes"

The Black Angels - "Young Men Dead"

Brian Eno--Discreet Music (LP)

David Bowie--All Saints

Son House - "Death Letter"

The Arcade Fire--Funeral
