No, I am sorry, you are incorrect.  We are not comparing the straight experience to the holocaust.  Straight Inc was and is a hate group.  The people that are on the Board of Trustees of the Museum ran straight and were liable in keeping it open and the model of treatment active for so many years.  They supported and support a hate group. We want those people  be removed from the Board of Trustees. We fully support the Florida Holocaust museum and their mission.  We ask that they adhere to the mission of the organization which is ?. . . honor the memory of millions of innocent men, women and children who suffered or died in the Holocaust. The Museum is dedicated to teaching members of all races and cultures to recognize the inherent worth and dignity of human life in order to prevent future genocides?.

There's a valid comparison to be made here. The people who founded and ran Straight (Seed graduates and parents) also have something to do with publicly funding, founding and running that damned boot camp in Bay County where they beat Martin Lee Anderson to death for the crime of joy riding in his grandmother's car.

A lot of people are going to take for granted that Martin died because he was black. That probably didn't help him as he stood before the Bay County judge who sentenced him to receive a little Brother Jeb!'s promised $100,000,000 in juvenile rehabilitation. But it wasn't the only reason. TOUGHLOVE is a fucking hate group. DARE is HitlerJugend. Straight and the rest of the troubled parent industry are gulags well on the order of Stalin's.

These Nazis have no business pretending to represent what the Holocaust Museum stands for. They're charlatans grabbing the Rabbi and crying sanctuary.

I think what makes stepcraft survivors different is that we have participated in the Asch Experiment writ large, and know what we (and others)are capable of in that situation.

Folks, I wish I could make the trip down there. Sounds like a blast. But I can't. So I'd ask you one favor. Look into the connections between Bay County Boot Camp and DFAF and consider makeing that a primary focus of your message.

Honest to God, if this had all ended 20 years ago, or even 10 years ago, I wouldn't be making noise like this. The ONLY reason I am is because it's not ended, it's progressing. Now the staffers have 9mm side arms and the false cred that comes w/ the badge. And they've got unwitting 9yo DARE snitches under cultivation in something like 80% of school districts.

They're MORE dangerous now than ever they were.

I don't care what they did to me and my family. I worry about what they might do to my kids and grandkids.

The 2006 Awards Banquet will be held at the A La Carte Event Pavilion, 4050 Dana Shores Drive, Tampa. Here is a map. Protesters should meet around 4:30 PM in the parking lot of the Golf Country Club across the street from the pavilion. They plan to picket until around 8:00 PM. They request that you bring your own signs. They will have a new flier to hand out but state that volunteers are welcome to make their own. The protest will be video taped and broadcast on the Internet later that evening.
