Fortunately, no matter how invasive some things may seem regarding the CEDU schools, RMA failed to re-contextualize most of John Lennon's music for me.

Well, maybe some of the Plastic Ono Band stuff, cause they used that shit in the I&Me, and I had never heard any of that stuff before RMA, but Imagine is such an overplayed song everywhere, that hearing it really doesn't bring up any mental association with school in my mind.

Doesn't matter. I don't listen to John Lennon anyway.

I'd probably roll my eyes though, if someone played Imagine at a new year's celebration, but not for anything that had to do with school. Mainly because I would be like "jeez, how shmaltzy. Can we be more idealistic and naive, here?" I'm jaded that way.
