Let's take a poll

Let's take an informal poll.  Let's have the people on this sight vote on how they feel HLA has helped or hurt.  Here are the rules:

1. You vote one of two ways:  "Helped more than hurt" or "Hurt more than helped"

2.  If you don't provide a user name, your vote does not count.

3.  You have to tell whether or not you actually graduated from HLA.  

Obviously, this is incredibly informal and subject to people lying and manipulating like crazy.  I just thought it would be fun to see the responses that we get.

how do you intend to use this information?
thought it might be a quick way to get a head count?  read the threads and keep a tally.

Hey man, it's an opportunity to put up or shut up.  Cut through all the bs and cast your vote one way or the other.  Since so many people "hate" HLA I figured you guys would jump at the opportunity to let the numbers speak for themselves.

P.S.  Considering you are supposedly in the job of teaching children, it's a webSITE, not a webSIGHT.  Can HLA not find a better representative?  This one does a poor job of representing the treatment center.

Where are the HLA "professionals" when serious questions are asked?

Why has HLA never sponsored a longitudinal study to assess the effectiveness of their program?

Why does HLA rely on anecdotal evidence/"polls" from a few patients served up via a censored website to "prove" their efficacy if indeed their practices hold up to conventional treatment standards?

Why will the HLA staff not engage anyone in real debate about their treatment center?

Why do they avoid meaningful inquiries while baiting and degrading less sophisticated posters?

If you won't answer these simple questions and continue to avoid pertinent questions, then you will continue to be viewed as you currently are: manipulators who avoid accountability.

Again, I'd be glad to debate you over the facts regarding HLA's treatment program or the RTC/TBS modality as a whole. So let's get started by answering the questions posed above as well as the definitive, longitudinal study by the NIH.

The HLA management staff do not post on this site. What you have here are individual employees, former employees, students and former students. None of the higher management staff have ever posted here. Therefore, they may not be aware of what sort of debate some of you are requesting.
