Excel Academy

I attended excel academy for three and a half years. My parents still won't hear anything bad against the place. I however, need to heal.  Has anyone anything to say?

I saw a brochure for excel and it looked like a joke... who runs it, some dud whose expertise is being a former drunk and in recovery.  Puh-leeeeeze!

We're looking for young people willing to speak out and work towards change.  please visit us http://www.cafety.org

Don't believe all their shit...

I graduated a few years ago from Excel and I knew many of the people who have posted comments on several websites and I can say that everything that any of them (Or you for that matter) say about Excel is simply false.

I was there over three years and I never saw anything that remotely resembles any type of abuse (unless you call telling someone who's full of crap that they are full of crap abuse).

All of these people who are trashing Excel are liars and will say or do anything to tear other people down. Don't believe their shit.  :P

My brother has been at Excel for 6 months and he is doing great.  He didn't like it at first, but now he is fine with it. He is sober for the first time in years and has a lot of respect for the staff.  He will be able to go to college, which wasn't in the cards before Excel.

Do you notice that this person is begging for someone to help them and asking for people to contact them... and they leave no contact information? That's a good clue to the fact that they don't really want anyone to contact them they just want to trash Excel. :cry2:

discardthisbaby@yahoo.com
i posted this awhile ago and sort of forgot about it
obviously i forgot to add my contact info
perhaps i should elaborate more on why i am seeking out information
two years ago a friend of mine was sent to excel acaedmy to receive help for various problems
im grateful for whatever help she received while at excel and im not bashing the shcool at all
what happened is i heard that she committed suicide either during her stay at excel or afterwards
ive called her parents and they refuse to return my calls
i am now under the impression that they have moved
so im turning to this forum for help
any recent graduates of excel in conroe texas, or anyone with an idea on what i can do to find out what happened, please contact me
thank you
