Coleman died from an overdose at some point before the trial ended. It took place in my small state, so it was on TV night after night. Even if you weren't interested, you pretty much knew what was happening anyway.
I use to believe Skakel was guilty. When my son had been home from elan for a while, he (my son) told me how he would lie and make up things up so the staff would stop pressuring him to "cop to his guilt". He said they kept insisting that he had more, so he gave them what they wanted, made up stories. He was only there two years ago, after the place had "softened".
I had been judging Skakel on his overweight "country club" looks, and that he had admitted this to other kids at the time.
Now I have a different view.

Michael was in 3. He was there when i was there. i didnt know him that well . Michael and Cindy Keith POed me back to PARSONSFIELD. A few months later when the night man thing happend in 2a a ALL house GM was called and Micheal  myself and about 10 others were stood in front of the houses in Elan 3. I NEVER herd Michael say anything about killing anybody. He was beat very bad that day. It was for running away.  If Michael killed anybody he would have been put in 4.Elan would have ate that shit up.

Art, How did these two guys end up as witnesses anyway, do you have any idea? Aparently, Skakel had a very strange tutior, who lived with them and also watched the kids, I think he was a suspect too.
Lets hope for a day, when lie detectors, or the like, work 100%. Look what DNA has done for us.

As i see it Michael must have pissed them off back in the day and years later they got back at him . I think they were just tryin to make a name for themselfs.
