TRIAL !!!

So when the hell is this damn trial goin down ?? It's been pending for like what, over a year now ? I spoke to the lawyer once and he said he needed to get everyone's consent that i join the case, that's fine, but he hasn't gotten back to me in months ! I'm wondering fi theyre even going to have a trial ?! Anyone know the deaal ?

Why don't you call Mr. Eldridge, the County Attorney and talk to him? The pre-trial hearing should be scheduled anytime now.  These things take time. Cheryl Sudweeks will be tried in a court of law, and the investigation is still ongoing and active!

Are you talking about the criminal case, or the civil case?

to be honest with you, i'm not even sure.. what's the difference between the civil case and the criminal case ?

Criminal case is brought, in this case, by the State of Utah and can result in jail time, if the defendant is convicted.  A Civil case is brought by individuals to recover, in most cases, money or to right a wrong for such things as breach of contract.
