Every incident of abuse observed needs to be reported to the authorities in Nephi, Utah. That is the only sure way to make sure it stops for sure.

I went to that program when it was still a bed and breakfast as well as a therapy program, and I had personally been verbally abused as well as assaulted. I can honestly tell you that they should not run any program involving children. You know they even read this sight, I once posted anonymous and the contacted my parents saying they didn't like how I explained what happened to me. I even recall how when I was in, there was an african american kid with me whom Cheryl called nigger alot. If anyone is thinking of sending their child there I STRONGLY advise against it.

How did your parents react to the phone call from Whitmore complaining about how you explained what happened while you were at the Whitmore?

TRIBUNE article, November 8, 2005

"Child Abuse Accusatins Bring Demise of Nephi Boarding School"
The Sudweeks's attorney estimates that there are only 10 "students" remaining at the Whitmore.
That's good news.
He states the Sudweeks "had to scale back their operations as a result of prosecution."

Yes, suppose criminal charges of child abuse would slow down enrollments, wouldn't they?

Things  may slow down with the Juab County commission too. The building there was based on conditional permits. Now that the State of Utah wants to license the Sudweeeks so-called "school," think maybe this commission might want to reevaluate things?

that whole thing about having to stand there whithout being able to sit is bologna. i dont know who made that lie, but i remember all the times we had to go graze the horses, it was because they needed to be grazed and i can remember all the times i went to graze, i laid down and relaxed in the grass. you could take a nap too if you trusted the horse wouldnt step on you.

Never heard of having to "babysit" horses while they graze! A neighbor reported being a witness to this outrageous behavior. Suds can't afford fencing?

Don't horses just graze themselves naturally? This is strange, to say the least.

aight you guys got it all wrong. when we held the horses by a rope it was called grazing, and yea we didnt like it but it was a part of responsibility of having the privilidge to ride, any idiot who went to the whitmore knows this, and nobody wore pink pagamas to bed cuz he whined like a girl, maybe but for a differnt reason and no one was forced. but yall are crazy, what kind of kid do you honestly think would take that??? especially torubled teens. ones that are coming from the ghetto and from hard places, you really think they would let cheryl tell them to do things like that? no even the hardest hearted kids cant be brainweashed.

What would be a reason for dressing a boy in pink and humiliating him in public?
Still never heard of a responsible grown person putting a horse on a leash for grazing. That is just plain stupid.
