You dont list any sort of first aid. What training have you had that qualifys you to take care of other peoples children? Youve brought this up regarding wilderness therapy instructors and you should be able to provide the same level of safety for your charges. So what qualifies you to have children in your care?

I did not list it because I already have first aid trainning.

And after TSW comment I'm sure every one on this topic feels like  ::bangin::  I have a few things to ask.

Have you ever planned doing a GBD on a staffer?

A what?

And damn it you better get the NRA quals for rifle range shooting so you can run the Rifle Shooting Merit badge I did that for three years at a boy scout camp in Washington State and I loved it. Though nearly getting my head blown off by a scared cub scout sucked, but them things happen on occasion.

I was thinking about it, but doing the rilfe shit takes alot of extrat work, you have to clean the guns, secure the ammo, well you know the drill, but the shooting merit badges don't seem to be that fun for the people in charge because they can never shoot you know. They are always running the range.

GBD group beat down

wouldent that be considered assault? Or was it never reported?  :???:

Anyway, about the rest of your post.

When ever I saw the instructer he never seemed to have any fun, and he never seemed to be shooting, then again he was 40 something so he would not enjoy bars and just having fun like younger kids.

Anyway, its good to hear its easyer than it seems.

In the scouts I learned a respect for firearms, and it always bothered me when I got a gun loaded or not, pointed in my direction. but if I ever do run the range I will remember what you said, I bet we can make it a hoot. And still safe of course!

Overlord speaks for no one other than himself.

Who gives anyone else the right to speak for them?

I never did.

OL: You seem to contradict yourself a lot. Aren't you a 'southern christian' baptist of whatever you call yourselves? Don't you have rules about not killing people? Aren't you worried about going to your 'hell'? I dont even know what to say to you, you are so crazy its funny. Like, I literally laugh out loud when I read some of your posts. I guess my question is, are you being serious when you post all the time... of is it just more of  casual laughable conversation starter. I'm just trying to get some perspective. You are an 'interesting' fellow.

but moving on to the question in your post, yeah alot of what I say is ment to be funny, I am indeed not always serious. Some of my stuff is for shock value to get people to pay attention, and some of it is crazy radical shit, because if you say more than you want, then tone it down and make it look like a compromise your more likely to get what you want.

If you catch me saying something that is so far out there, its generally one of two things.

1. Its to get people to look at it and start talking about it, if they bash me for what I said or not, its ok, but they start talking about what I brought up.

2. I'm venting. Every one needs to vent every now and again. If I just say something insane and have no support, then im venting.

This topic starter was alittle bit of both mixed together, with the question added in because I wanted to know what people thought.[ This Message was edited by: OverLordd on 2005-08-24 16:42 ]
