Spring Creek Passwords
« on: August 06, 2005, 04:00:00 PM »
I noticed that many areas of the official Spring Creek site (such as the FAQ) are password protected? Does anyone here have a username and password that would allow me to see the FAQ?

Thanks.

I don't know but on some WWASP sites the security isn't particularly good.  I know of one that will accept any combination of 5 digits.  Try experimenting.

The only thing their web developers are good at is buying domain names and throwing up a template they bought and copy and pasting all the text into the templates.

This is the actual website for the school. This is the site that parents use to access information, photos, and use this weird forum that is required of them. They talk about their doubts, reservations,  fears, etc. and Trolls and programmed parents assure them everything is OK and how Wonderful their child is doing and you have to "work the program," etc.

Getting access to this site would be VERY interesting...

Hello my name is Lois K. my daughter Melissa is at Springcreek. The toughest love I have ever done was the night my daughter was taken from my home July 19,2003 at 3:30 AM. My other daughter Becca and I sat and cried as they took her in handcuffs. I had kicked her out of my home because of her violence. then 3 months later I knew I had to do something or I would be possibly going to her funereal. she was doing meth and got real thin. I prayed for weeks that she would call. She did and I got her home. That night I had her taken. She was so happy to be home she painted her toenails and had a smile on her face but I knew it was only a matter of time before she would explode again, but just for an instant I questioned myself I still do at times but I know that I saved her life. I cry when I think of that night. I miss my girl so much, but soon she will be that loving girl that I use to know.

HI~
MY NAME IS BECCA. I AM 15 YEARS OLD. MY SISTERS NAME IS MELISSA SHE IS 16 IN A HAFE. MY MOM PUT HER IN SPRING CREEK IN JUNE. SHE HAS BEEN THERE FOR 6 MONTHS NOW. MELISSA WAS ON DANGEROUS DRUGS THAT COULD OF KILLED HER. MY MOM KICKED HER OUT OF HER HOUSE IN APRIL. THEN MELISSA WENT WITH HER FREINDS AND THAT WAS BAD. ALL OF HER FRIENDS WERE ON DRUGS. WE HAD MY SISTER TAKEN AWAY IN HANDCUFFS BECAUSE SHE REFUSE TO GO. IT WAS A HORRIBLE SIGHT FOR ME I CREID SO HARD. IT WAS LIKE A HELPLESS FEELING INSIDE AND I COULDN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. I AM GETTING THROUGH THIS HARD TIME RIGHT NOW. I STILL THINK ABOUT MELISSA. MY SISTER IS WITH THE DENSITY GROUP.I HOPE ALL OF YOU WHO READS THIS NOWS THAT YOUR NOT ALONE. GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!!

Hello there, Our names are Tommy and Rebbecca M. Our child that is in Spring Creek is Jordan M. We are the Father and Step-Mother. Jordan is a member of the Eternity Family. She was enrolled into the Lodge in the beginning of August. Jordan is currently an L2.

We just recently went through Discovery and WOW we really got a lot out of it. It made us take a look at ourselves and how we are truly accountable for our choices and not the choices of those around us. I hope that everyone was able to get that from the seminar. We went into Discovery thinking it was going to be all about our child, however we quickly learned that it has nothing to do with Jordan. We also learned we are not our child's problem, our child is our child's problem. We were able to get rid of so much baggage during Discovery. We are anxious, excited and scared about focus but very much looking forward to it. Discovery has brought us closer as a family and we believe we are able to set boundaries for the other children in our household in order to preserve their childhood and aid in their becoming mature, responsible adults.

We are having some struggles at this time due to Jordan's Biological Mother not supporting the program. She is having some struggles deciding if she wants to support the program or not. Unfortunately for Jordan, she is aware of her Mother's struggle at this time. Therefore, Jordan has not advanced in her program. She went through Discovery and it only got worse. We had a hard time trying to figure out how someone who went through the same program we did, did not get anything from it. After Discovery her letters were full of hate and venom. She states that she hates us and that she refuses to accept us. She however is very smart and knows exactly what she is doing. We do not get along with her biological Mother and she knows if she manipulates her Mother with these words she will be pulled from the program. Currently this manipulation tactic is working. Her Mother is currently trying to decide when she wants to pull Jordan from the program. We would love anyone's feedback and inspiration on how to deal with our situation. We can only stand on our thoughts of, we can not control the world and if the decisions they (Monica and Jordan) make arrive in removing Jordan from the program, these are decisions they will have to live with and be accountable for. Jordan ran away prior to being placed into Spring Creek. She ran away from her Mothers house based on an argument that ended in her Mother telling her to pack her things and get out. Now Jordan is manipulating this same Mother in order to be removed from the program. Jordan's Mother does not believe she belongs in Spring Creek for whatever reasons. However, she has no idea the things her daughter was involved in and refuses to listen. All she sees is ways to get at us through giving Jordan what she wants. She is not even looking at the fact that she is not hurting us, she is hurting her daughter. We are at a loss. We truly want Jordan to become a responsible young woman who does not get through life using manipulation tactics constantly. This is the style she has been taught and has mastered it. Has anyone gone through the same situation and if so we would love to hear from you.

God Bless and have a great day.

Spring Creek Lodge Academy takes the safety of our students and staff very seriously. In addition to state safety inspections by the health and fire departments, SCLA has also created an Emergency Procedure Flipbook, available to all staff and located in every office that includes the following: General Emergency Procedure, Emergency Phone Numbers, Suicide Threat or Attempt, Spilled Body Fluids, Bomb Threat, Explosion, Serious Illness or Injury, Room Clearance, Lock Down, Partial Evacuation, Total Evacuation Procedures, Utilities Management, Earthquake, Fire, and Inclement Weather. In each of these sections, clear, easy to follow directions are written about how each of the emergencies are to be handled.

For some reason this is just fucking funny to me. A fucking flip book? Sweet god almighty come on.

I was looking at their computer lab, it seems out dated... believe me you can just tell. There are a few hints here and there. Look at the screen res, the computer type, and the mice. Thats a dead give away, no one makes mice like that anymore.

Challenge course looks dirty and in ill repare, as compaired to a boy scout one I resently partisipated in.

I dont have much to bitch about the dorms. They look new.

The river front is not a river front, more like a sinking dock with a half eaten staircase leading to it.

In conculsion, A pretty outside, but nothing worth coughing at in the inside.

I admire your skepticism, but count them. Years and years of photos, perused every day by hundreds of parents.
