Ha! That's priceless, it really is.

Needed by whom exactly?

Tell us this program supporter: Can you point us to some independent results which show these programs are 'doing an awesome job' as you say?

Your asking us to ask the salesman whether it's a good buy or not. I wouldn't even do this with a car, so why my child?

Please show us the data."

Independent data?  Each parent or teen sent their accolades to the Editor of the Source magazine independent of being "told" to do so.  They did it because they were asked to rebut the places like this forum and newspaper sensationalism:

Oh, forgot, you think we're all brainwashed!  That's the old standby when you don't have anything more intelligent to say...

So, they did it "independently", because they were asked to? Alright, Dolphine-- you've never been too strong in the logic department, no reason to expect you to start using your brain now.

Writing appreciation letters to the program is one of the homework assignments given to parents at the Focus seminar. They have to do it to complete the seminar. All this show of support is a well orchestrated show. You were stupid enough to fall for it, and now you expect everybody else to do the same? Dream on.

Looks like she's way ahead of ya'. Unfortunately, it won't work, not if Dolphin is the parent in question. I'd seriously advise this young lady to start now fostering strong bonds w/ more stable friends and family members.

If they can get you to ask the wrong questions they don't have to worry about the answers

From Dolphin.  I agree...the parents were asked to help by writing their personal thoughts.  They weren't told to do it.  40 some pages worth is a lot, but not nearly all of the parents and kids that benefited from their program.

How do drug companies of dangerous diet pills get pages of testimonials. Maybe by paying their ?clients? and offering them more free drugs. These drugs might help some in the beginning, but in the long run they prove to be harmful. Eventually the drug is legally pulled off the shelves.
