Ok, let me address this as simply as possible. If a parent places their child into one of these programs lets see what kind of investments they make. First, they have the money issue, paying roughly 30,000 - 50,000 a year for tuitiom/board. Next they have an intense emotional investment of who knows how long (12-36 months) of having their child in these programs. Now, maybe this parent has referred other parents to the programs and may feel like their reputation is on the line as well. How can you possibly explain your choices as a parent if you deny the program working for your child? You can't explain all this as a mistake. No one would say that this didn't work because it would be the biggest embarrassment of their lives! They would be ridiculed and tormented as being bad parents. Survey accuracy is questionable as well. The pull on parents from these brainwashing seminars can last months or years as well, influencing their decisions in these surveys. -kev

yeah, it's a confidential survey.  That's why the very first questions are name and address. =P

thats why i put in my 2 cent- bad experience at Mission Mountain School right here.  Lon speaks highly of it to- his daughter went there with me.  makes me sick though.  John Mercer, head master who runs the program has masters in Ecology for Christ's sake.  He was mean, arrogant and power hungry.

Where does it say the survey is about WWASP programs?  I'm confused.

it may be my fault that I replied in response to WWASP only but it is in the wwasp section of the forum and that's my excuse for attacking them only. ahh i feel justified already, lol. -kev

Survey numbers are nearly WORTHLESS

Of the attendees and parents of gulag victims, there is a very high degree of loyalty and vocal support by a VERY few of the actual body of current and past attendees and parents.

I worked for one of these places and know the drill.

You select, even hand pick the people you want interviewed.

Gets good approval numbers.

It just is not true! The surveys are biased, and after all you can make a survey prove there are condos on the moon if your polling sample is hypnotized and told to say so!
