Ecstacy, when were you a student at Whitmore?

I just wanted to comment on the post about the horses in British Columbia. I now own one of those horses. If you could have seen her when she was rescued it would break your heart. If these people can do what they did to horses they can do it to people. They were also running a camp for troubled youth here in BC.it's no wonder why they left to try this again in the states. I hope you hit them hard than our laws did.

What information can you provide on the camp for troubled teens that is being run in BC?  It is currently open at this time? What is the name of this place?  How many kids are kept there?  Do you know who watches these kids? Are these kids from the United States? Who would hold any license for such a "camp?"  Please post any information you might have. Thanks!

The treatment of those horses was terrible, and most on this forum have read the case:
Regina VS Sudweeks.

I have often tried to make this point.

The starvation of all those horses and dogs shows a callous indifference to the suffering of others - and it is predictable that it would translate into the way they treat people.

How true! Withholding food as punishment to many of those kids at Whitmore is a reflection of how they starved those poor horses up in Canada. Same difference.

The kids at Whitmore report on poor treatment of animals at the Whitmore too.

After that trial in Canada, and being found guilty of such outrageous animal cruelty, wonder why the Sudweeks were allowed to have an "Equine Horse" program in Utah, anyway?
