Most parents and former "students" of these programs often do not find forums such as FORNITS until after-the-fact.
Many parents do not turn to attorneys and law suits until after they have been turned away by every agency they go to trying to get "help" in rectifying the damage these programs have done, and are still doing to children.
As you have stated about these programs: These owners have deeper goals, and motives than the almighty DOLLAR. The same goes for parents who file these law suits. Their goals are not all about monetary gain either.
Parents want these program owners,to be held accountable for their unacceptable, abusive and often criminal behaviors.
And parents want these owners and programs brought to the public's attentions to perhaps stop other parents from sending their children to these programs.

I understand where Ginger is coming from ... personally I'm all for kids suing a program and being awarded huge settlements as it is the children who pay the biggest price and also, it will send a message to insurance underwriters to beware when insuring these programs ... RAISE THE PREMIUM ... make the programs pay through the nose for abuse insurance.

To whomever said that I would go back, you are wrong I am out on my own doing just fine. I have bene doing great nad hvae bene maing money. I do plan on going back to the WHitmore Academy in August, just to sign myself out of my contract and to get all of my stuff.. which i did write down so it couldnt "go missing." KC is at home doing just fine from what I have heard, and Mike got sent back there for reasons I do not know of. Yes I made it, and I the only to escape and NOT go back, I beat Chris' record of a month, and nothing can stop me. I just want to aware people that I am doing just fine adn not to worry about me, if you would like contact with me feel free to e-mail me @ mackey2310@yahoo.com , and if you wish you can leave a number and I will be in contact with you, feel free to ask me any questions and what not, but nothing relating to the whereabouts of me because I cant say. Good luck on getting any of your stuff back Mackey--probably won't happen. Don't know what you mean about "signing yourself out of any contract." You parents signed the contract with the Sudweeks, right? Probably should save yourself the price of the ticket---just replace anything you left there, and write it all off as a "loss." Put the Whitmore experience behind you lad. Glad to hear you are doing good.

Good luck to you Mackey. Unless you signed a contract with the Sudweeks, which, by the way, would be invalid, since you would have been under the age of 18, no reason to do anything. In fact, you can't do anything.
As far as your things, kiss them good-bye. Unless you took your stuff when you left, you are more than likely not going to get it now. Ask anyone who has tried. It just sort of disappears.
It would probably be a good choice on your part not to even go near the Whitmore or the Sudweeks.
You sound like you are doing well, just stay focused on that.
