The Missoula Independent wrote a wonderful article re Spring Creek and WWASP.

See the Coalition Against Institutionalized Child Abuse http://www.caica.org "news stories" and "legislation" for more information on what's going on in Montana.

It was an excellent article but takes a good 1/2 hour or more to read.

Well worth every second of it. At least this news reporter took the time to really check into this and learn the industry. I think it paints a good picture for parents.

Very impressive article on Spring Creek Lodge. Hopefully reporter Adams will investigate some of the other programs in Western Montana that are rumored to be abusive. It seems that as more states pass regulatory laws, Montana is fast becoming the mecca of the teen prison industry. Hopefully by 2007 there will be enough public outrage over these programs that the industry lobbyists won't be able to defeat regulatory legislation again. Keep up the good work CAICA, ISAC and John Adams! The worst enemy of these programs is an informed public.

I'm wary about CAICA, seems head woman Isabelle is sort of over zealous and have read not so nice things about her from alumni who shes spoken to.  Her reports are also poorly written, i'm not saying on has to be a pro but the way the Majestic ranch reports read on her site make her seem like not very smart and are kinda emabarrassing. I also seen this on the WWASP forum
