WWASPS SUED
Nihilanthic:
26 plaintiffs in a massive lawsuit.... woo hoo!
I hope George miller helps out with this, and I really hope this story makes the media in a more effectual manner than when it was last on fox news.
I for one hope this goes somewhere, and either a shakedown or regulation with teeth comes as a result of this.

Is that a typo? Only 26? All the hype for what, two years now, and it's only 26? It must be a typo.
If any of those folks filing are as "playing dumb" as this Janet sounds in the article, we'll see - Newspapers do have a way of making people sound like idiots, though.
I haven't been able to find the filing. Anyone have the link?
Anonymous:
I have it on good source that the complaint will be modified soon. Ultimately there may be as many as 60 plaintiffs. Stay tuned...
Anonymous:
Ok, so 60 that feel wronged? Out of what, thousands of families that say they benefited? That's still a pretty low number. Gotta get those lawyers to work...
BuzzKill:
I think it is reasonable to expect an increase in both lawyers willing to take WWASP on, and plaintiffs looking for lawyers to take their case.
I'd wager that a goodly number of those thousands you quote are not nearly as happy as you'd like to think.
I suspect this is why you have instructed Teen Help to only use updated, approved lists for referrals.
I suspect, Providing a list of program parents from the unedited list was causing problems now and again - with parents who weren't so happy and said so to your new prospects. Must have happened often enough to cause you to want to implement a new referral strategy.
I'd guess you have many more unhappy families than those few that have found David or Henry. Hopefully they will now will be able to find representation, and will hold the program accountable.
