Because these parents need to understand that the Whit is no safe place for kids who dared attempt an escape.

sorry i didnt "word" it right for you. Mackey is one of my better friends that I had..and let me clarify it for you so that you dont get it all twisted because you cannot comprehend what I am saying...IF the kids did get beat..mackey would not have to be scared because he is one of the "bigger" kids that we have...so in other words, he did not leave because of that. Not to mention Mike is too. Anyways, ask that one man who works with the nephi police or w/e..its either godfrey. eldridge, or this other guy...which ever one works with the police..he called the airline and found out that Joyce paid for their ticket..thats how that was found out..anyways, im out. :silly:

Well, first, I don't actually believe that happened. Second, nobody said anything about getting a message to the kids. We're talking about alerting the parents to the danger of shipping their kids back to the Suds.
Remember that the Whit is said to be a drug infested environment as well. The kids are probably safer wherever they are than at the Whit. The parents need to understand that. Though it's doubtful that the kids would be able to trust them or believe them even if they did suddenly see the light. So sad.
If anyone is in touch w/ these boys, I hope you'll inform them that they can go to a runnaway shelter (NOT to the police!) and stand a good chance of getting protection. They'll have to explain why their parents can't be trusted and no kid really wants to expose their parents to that kind of thing. But they have to do it if they're to avoid what they know happens to Whit kids who dare attempt an escape.
