Yes. If anything "gay" happened to you at KHK that is exactly what needs to get reported on the TV news.

There was certainly nothing like "getting motivated" to stretch out after sleeping on the cold hard floor everyday.

Metal-head!? I bet your head isn't made out of metal.
Why are you on this forum anyway? What is "open meeting?" Sounds like they drilled their thinking into you!
Nothing about the program is open- thats why we have this discussion. What a coward.
My guess is that you monitor this board in order to justify your guilty feelings towards people who have the guts to stand up for themselves.

Well I can't say that I got my hopes up, but thats what they get for the money. I could care less about the lackluster reporting, but give me a break. Nothing about the connection to other groups to which there have been deaths related came through. I would like to hear some of the names of the investigators. No mention was made about any of the research. Shabby reporting if you ask me.
The fact is all kinds of laws have been broken by programs like this. Really this is the truth. There are reasonable expectations to the standards of care and having your privacy violated is against anyones rights. I doubt that there is even a drug test for the kids to establish if there was drug use.

Of course any exposure will be positive. I can see something like this getting people to talk. I only hope it will get some people(more influential than me!) to GET IT! I am going to call somebody that I know in the Cincy area. Let me repostulate...If a BEAR shits in the woods, is there anybody there to SMELL it!?

I just saw the spot preluding the news spot on WCPO THE hand flapping... some may find this suprising but I was experiencing that kind of pressure long before my treatment days... at church. The connection between this type of abuse and religion is a reality. Before I ever found this forum I realized that. How can breaking people down be a good thing? Is this expose' going to go into the religious aspects of "the program"?

Thats what I really think is important. To be honest I don't know about this program specifically or its crimes/indescretions-but I can tell you that it is obviously the offshoot/predescessor of the program in Lexington, which has covered up a death. This kind of abuse has to be stopped.

By the year 2000, we will, I hope, raise our children to believe in human potential, not God.

I guess what I am trying to say is that although I wish I had known about this protest and been there, I don't want to just complain. I want to be involved in some sort of legal action to make it stop. It would become obvious to any court of law if(and when) the facts are disclosed. Sure, I like the debate, but to what end? That is why I said "is this organized." But what I meant is will this protest initiate some kind of legal action. Fight fire with fire.  [ This Message was edited by: KNOTTY on 2006-02-10 13:36 ]

Show up? Expose'? Organize yourself! I wonder. What are the issues concerning this particular program? I mean physical abuse? Belt looping? Inappropriate first degree questioning about sexual histories? Trying to compile information to be used against the clients-or the clients friends? Maybe without this kind of information an unorganized protest would not help. I am just wondering if this will allow a program to put on an air of innocence while in the background promoting these aforementioned abuses- because that is what it is. Tell us what laws are being broken and then we will have a case-or else I can just imagine a lot of excuses being made.

Understand that legal and illegal are political, and often arbitrary,
categorizations; use and abuse are medical, or clinical, distinctions.
