I haven't met anyone that had a good salvia experience. I personally became a stick figure drawing on a page in a book, and the book was trying to close on me forever, and on the pages were all these crazy, fucked up murals of people getting killed and shit, it was just really fucking scary. We all tried it once together and vowed to never touch that terrifying shit again. Salvia trips are so intense that I'd imagine if you have a good one it would be an incredible experience. But I didn't realize I was me when I was on it, didn't know where the fuck I was, and when I came out of it I thought I was still in it, which was even scarier. I'm not willing to go through that again on the outside chance I'll get a good one.
DMT trips aren't supposed to come with all that bullshit fear. Supposedly it's a very enlightening and placid experience as opposed to the extreme visuals and horrific time distortion of salvia. Months as a plank in the wall may seem like a gross exaggeration to some of you, but my little book closing episode felt as if it took place over the span of an hour or so, when in reality (according to my sitters) I was only gone for a matter of seconds before I snapped out and started shouting things like "what the fuck! something's fucking wrong!" and "this isn't real! i'm still tripping! please let me come back down!"
Bottom line is, for all of you interested in salvia, go ahead and satisfy your curiosity, it's a hell of an experience, but just be ready for it, and don't expect to want to try it again. [ This Message was edited by: puma046 on 2006-04-27 20:05 ]
