On another thread someone mentioned having a song of his on the straight documentary and "I'm wrong but you ain't right" might be appropriate. It'd be cool if all the survivors and siblings of survivors that are musicians had their music in it. Another one to include is MG8's "Gulag"  :tup:

Oh, I'm SO jealous about you living in San Fran..love that city.I was there this past spring to catch Ian Brown at The Great American Music Hall.

Now, back to Bauhaus.I read about the Halloween Show while searching for a review of last nights show. Are you going to that gig too? Please tell me about last nights show.Did they play any Love & Rockets or Peter Murphy?

No, unfortunately, I can't go to the Halloween show. I have schoolwork to do.

I'm confused. Why would they play Love & Rockets? That's an entirely different band. And Peter Murphy was obviously there, since he is the lead singer of Bauhaus.

The Great American Music Hall and the Warfield are both excellent venues, serious, top-notch theaters that sound great and have an elegant demeanor, as does the Orpheum, though not as much.  San Francisco has some great musical venues, seeing rock acts in some of them is like partying in church.  Once, at a show at the Warfield, a group of friends and I decided to partake of some high-grade Trinity County smoke during the intermission.  We walked outside into the lobby area, and lit up, contentedly puffing away when we noticed a Warfield usher approaching us.  It being San Francisco, we knew the worst that would happen was to be told to put it out, but on second glance, I realized the guy was bringing us an ashtray.  Now that's a great venue!

Now that's a show I would have loved to go to. I've only heard a small amount of either band's repitoire, so I would love to go to a concert to hear more of their stuff.

Which reminds me, I need to acquire some SPB music.

Another band I would have liked to have seen, (but they broke up before I moved to SF) was the Mummies. I had several of their 45s and I had absolutely fallen in love with them.
