1:22am...partied in Barts' shed tonight.  That's how we do it in PA.  He's got a shed out back o' his house with a receiver 'n' turntable 'n' some decent speakers all hooked up.  He's got a woodstove in there too so we fired it up and drank beer and smoked up 'n' listened to some ol' records:

Black Sabbath - "Master of REality"

Grand Funk - "Live Album"(double album)

Iron Maiden - "Powerslave"

If you would have justice in this world, then begin to see that a human being is not a means to some end.  People are not commodities.  When human beings are just to one another government becomes obsolete and real freedom is born; SPIRITUAL ANARCHY.

Blue Oyster Cult--"Astronomy" (live version from Some Enchanted Evening, one of the best live albums, and coolest titles, ever)

Byrds--"Why"

Peter Tosh--"Equal Rights"

The Who--"La La La Lies"

David Lee Roth--"Yankee Rose" (!)

Them--"Could You Would You"

Voivod--"We Carry On"

Black Sabbath--"Hand of Doom"

Baby Woodrose--"Hippie Chick"

Cream--"Badge" (beautiful song......hey Frod, did ya notice the chords to this one are B, A, D, G, and E?)

Greenhornes--"Pattern Skies"

Metallica--"Battery"

David Johansen & Larry Salzman--"The Last Kind Words"

Ronettes--"Baby I Love You" (Ronnie Specter's voice----wtf else do ya want?)

Minus 5--"Dear My Inspiration"

(interlude.....do I watch 'Logan's Run' or 'The Black Gestapo'?......decisions, decisions)

Jerry Garcia & Merl Saunders--"Going Going Gone"

Waistcoats--"Jack's Day Off"

Calexico & Iron and Wine--"Prison on Route 41"

('Black Gestapo' is cool, but 'Logan's Run' is more visual, and I'm watching with the volume down)

Jimmy Buffett--"Sunny Afternoon" (Kinks cover, therefore acceptable)

Runaways--"I Love Playin' With Fire"

White Stripes--"Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground"

Velvet Revolver--"Fall to Pieces" (kinda ghey, was hoping for better from these guys)

Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers--"The Waiting" (my homie, I used to rent a house he had lived in previously.  He was cool until he started letting Jeff Lynne produce his records)

Kaiser Chiefs--"I Predict A Riot"

Peter Tosh & Mick Jagger--"(You Gotta Walk and) Don't Look Back"

Aerosmith--"Mama Kin" ( evidence that rock bands should never stop taking drugs, or if they do, they should retire)

White Stripes--"Take, Take, Take"

Creatures of the Golden Dawn--"Enough of What I Need" (cool stuff from a great garage band)

Rolling Stones--"Harlem Shuffle"

Washington Squares--"Lay Down Your Arms"

The Stooges--"Search and Destroy"

Didn't want this statement misconstrued.  "Mama Kin" is a great song from their drug-using days.  All post-rehab Aerosmith sucks, with the possible exception of the song "St. John" (B-side of "Rag Doll") and Honkin' On Bobo, but those are all old blues songs that they rocked out.  I hear they hire outside songwriters now, too.  Just shows to go ya, when the drugs are gone, the RAWK takes a hike.......
