A few local bands at a festival I worked at and later attended all day in the hot sun.

On the way home Life's Been Good by Joe Walsh came on. Every time I hear this song it brings back memories when I was released from straight correctional institute. It was a few weeks of being out and I went down to Hart Plaza in Detroit w/ these 2 guys that were in straight w/ me. It was 1989 and the Pistons won the championship and it was wild downtown. Everyone was yelling out "Bad boys" all night long.

Joe Walsh was giving a free concert. The chronic was being burned everywhere I turned and alcohol was being consumed nonstop. I think we were the only 3 people there among a sea of mullets, concert tees and lighters in the air that were sober. I kept thinking to myself "what a fuckin time to be in damn recovery". I missed partying and I'm pretty sure one of the other guys with me did as well. All in all though we still had a damn good time as the concert and surrounding atmosphere was off the hook that night.

Frod and second skin I got your messages on my answering machine tonight. I heard ya'll with your sexy ass voices! lol. Cheers!

I've been following the woodstock movie on VH1-classic all weekend. It was made near my boyhood home in Chautauqua County, New York. :smokin:

The United States of America should have a foundation free from the influence of clergy.".
--George Washington, Revolutionary War General and U.S. President

I wouldn't tell a lie either, but still that governing document is outdated called the U.S. constitution._________________
