What's the real difference between P.U.R.E. and WWASP anyway?

PURE is a referral service - Sue refers parents of troubled teens to residential treatment and troubled teen programs for a fee paid by the schools.

WWASPS oversees several residential and behavior change programs.  They are not a referral service.

They do not pay PURE a referral fee for referring to them - at least not yet.

Just re-read "WWASP referral fees" and am still confused1?!? Seems like it says Sue Scheff collected referrals fees from WWASP...but here it says PURE does not.  Are we splitting hairs here?????? Does or Did she???? Sure seems difficult to simply get a simple answer to a simple question.

When Sue had a kid in one of the WWASP programs she got tuition credit for referring other parents.  As far as I understand.

So Sue DID NOT continue to collect referral fees from WWASP AFTER she removed her daughter from the WWASP program then??? Is this a correct statement?

Don't know.  I guess you could ask Sue, but I don't think that would get you very far.

No    read the transcripts.

She refered.Gave the credits to another mother. The mother paid her $$$$$$.

It was slick. Very, very slick.

Indicative of the individual's character.

Teen help is WWASP's referal service.

They refer within their own system.Tons of money is made by people who create websites and refer to wwasp programs.  They then become WWASPies!

IMO its patterned after the Mormon missionarys.
Go out and spread the "wisdom". Recruit more Mormons.More Mormons equate to more $$$$$ More souls  etc etc etc.

Does not sound too slick if people are aware of exactly how Sue Scheff was paid, IF THIS IS HOW IT ACTUALLY HAPPPENED. Wonder what this "mother" who supposedly participated in this gained?
If all this did happen, why didn't WWASP appeal the case ruling?

The other mother received a month's tuition FOR THE REFERAL. Depending on which facility her kid was in. It could have been worth $2000,$3000,0r $4000 dollars. Then the refering woman was paid $1000.00 from the mother with A CHILD IN THE PROGRAM for her referal. It was a split. When Teen Help caught on it came to a halt.

The tuition was worth more than the $1000.

Well aren't we just as honest as the day is long. Now lying on a deposition sounds like child's play. Amazing Amazing.

It's not about my honesty. It's in the opening statements of the WWASP vs Pure transcripts.

Its about as far a I could read before becoming ill to my stomach.

Read for yourself. It could be enlightening for you..

Sorry did not mean you Anon.  Not questioning your honesty.  It was a collective "WE" referring to Sue Scheff is she did indeed collect referral fees from WWASP in the manner described, and this does make lying on a deposition look like child's play.

I'm not sure where you are suggesting the woman lied in the deposition. (?)

I find the volume of kids referred into the WWASP Program disturbing.

WWASP does offer substantial rewards to get kids into their Program. That is how they manage to have so many children enrolled.  It works.Do an internet search, the wwasp wesites are many.

The volume of kids enrolled in the short period of time could suggest a "business" was made out of the opportunity provided.  Ingenious  if it didnt entail kids being incarcerated. Parents being without contact with their children.
