WWASP referal fees
« on: March 20, 2005, 01:12:00 PM »
Hey, haven't a number of people claimed that WWASP doesn't pay referal fees? Well check out the transcript. Mr. Silvester seems to think that they do and that Sue Scheff was refering parents to WWASP after she took her kid out of CS for that very reason.

Why would their own lawyer state in court that they do pay referal fees if they don't?

You never see animals going through the absurd and often horrible fooleries of magic and religion. Only man behaves with such gratuitous folly. It is the price he has to pay for being intelligent but not, as yet, intelligent enough.

Where do we go to read the transcript?
Sue Scheff MAY have continued to refer kids to WWASP programs for fees even after she removed her kid from what she says she knew was an abusive program???? Now IF THAT IS TRUE, this lady must really be some confused person.

If one does their homework on this same topic;  you can see the contridictions arrising continuously in that document.

If you read the trial transcripts & depositions; the schools P.U.R.E. refers to are listed & the large sum of money P.U.R.E. has been accused of collecting for their services?

I've heard that the referal fee is about $2000 - parents who recruit other parents get a reduction in their tuition bill.

Back in the day when I was a parent with a child in a WWASP facility ( i'm very sad to say) Teen Help was paying a month tuition and or $1000.00.

The new parent enrolling their child needed to have "mentioned" the refering parent to be able to recieve a tuition credit or the money.I never saw either. Did'nt want or need to. I had talked to many parents who refered kids to Teen Help to help them with tuition cost.I must say after reading the WWASP vs Pure transcript that woman had a big business taking place in refering kids to wwasp. I hope she has nightmares for ever.

In reality it is a slick marketing tool.

I doubt if she has ever had a nightmare over it.
The owners of Whitmore Academy are being investigated for child abuse, both physical abuse and sexual abuse; and Sue Scheff continues to refer kids there, and has stated that she supports the owners, Mark and Cheryl Sudweeks 100%. She has publicly spoken out against the parent of the alleged victim of this abuse, and has repeated vicios lies about this parent. So, I would doubt if she has had any nightmares about collecting referral fess for sending kids to WWASP programs, if she in fact did this.

Just a question: If things are as it seems now, that Sue Scheff is "in the know about when WWASP if filing a lawsuit against ISAC before anyone else knows about it...."  does anyone think perhaps she is doing business with them again? Maybe even referring kids to their programs? Maybe thinking WWASP-ie is not such a bad place for kids afterall??? Just wonderding?????

This is an "ed con" not an educational consultant.

This is an excerpt from Sue's deposition. What preceeded this was a lot of questioning on her education and work experience. She does not hold a degree and it was discovered that she worked in her mothers wholesale food business, the aviation industry and then in a hospital, Humana (the name of the hospital changed a couple of times due to a change in ownership). While in the hospital she worked in accounting, purchasing and special services. She defined special services as telecommunications, cafeteria/kitchen. She was asked:

Q. So the special services area of this hosptial really had no role in delivering medical care?
A. No, no.

So she admits early on that she has had no medical training.

How much of this information do you loyal followers of hers have?

(To help you understand the dialog, Q. is Mr. Silvester and A. is Sue.

BY MR. SILVESTER:
Q. Ms. Scheff, you have now been handed exhibit 13 to your deposition?

A. Uh-huh (affirmative)

Q. Do you recognize the document?

A. Yes, I do.

Q. It comes off your website, correct?

A. Right.

Q. Did you prepare the section on the president, Sue Scheff?

A. Some of it, yes.

Q. This indicates that you were the founder of PURE?

A. Right.

Q. And in the second paragraph it says for the past several years you devoted time, energy, and support to helping parents find healthy and safe environments for children?

A. Right.

Q. Then it goes on to say with a degree in business and finance, combined with years of experience in the medical field....

A. Right. And that was changed.

Q. ...she created PURE with the desire to help families. NOw, I must have misunderstood earlier. You don't have a degree, do you?

A. No. I don't and that's what I said. That was, I know Eugene (could that be BK) had taken that out.

Q. And you don't have experience in the medical field do you?

A. Well I worked in the hospital.

Q. You think accounting in a hospital is experience in the the medical field?

A. I think special services with the referrals that I did, yes. I did a lot of referrals about what type of doctors that people had needed when I worked for Humana. Yes, I do.

Q. I thought you said earlier they were special services that had to do with...

A. I did but...

Q. ...a kitchen and purchasing...

A. I did.

Q. ...had nothing to do with the medical staff?

A. Telecommunications was part of a referral-based system that was in the hospital.

Q. So you...

A. I did say telecommunications.

Q. So you beleive you have years of experience in the medical field?

A. In the referral system of the medical field. When I worked at the hospital.

Q. You don't think this is misleading information to put out in from of consumers?

A. No, I don't. I think the degree is misleading, yes. And that's, and I know that was removed.

Q. That isn't misleading, that's a lie, isn't it?

A. It's incorrect.

Q. But years of experience in the medical field, you don't think that would mislead people into thinking you had...

A. NO.

Q. ...medical training?

A. Because I worked at...

Q. You don't beleive that would lead people into beleiving you might have medical training?

A. No.

AND MORE ON THE REFERAL FEES

Q. Do you remember receiving a check for refering XXXX XXXXXXXX to Casa by the Sea in April of 2001?

A. I don't recall. I did not personally refer these people.

Q. Now, do you remember refering nine people through Diane XXXXXXXX?

A. Yes.

Q. Do you remember one of these people as XXXXX XXXXXXXX who went to Tranquility Bay in March of 2001?

A. No.

Q. Do you remember one of those people was XXXXXXX XXXX, who went to Carolina Springs in March of 2001.

A. I didn't know the names, Randall kept track of that.

Q. Do you remember on of those persons being XXX XXXXXXX, who went to Tranquility Bay in March of 2001?

A. No. I don't remember that name at all.

Q. Do you remember XXXXX XXXXXXXXX going to Spring Creek Lodge in April of 2001 and you receiving partial payment through Diane XXXXXXXX?

A. I don't remember that at all. That name at all.

Q. Do you remember--

A. I never kept track of the names.

Q. Do you remember the referrals from Dinae XXXXXXX were made so that she would get two-thirds of the referral credit and she would give you one third?

A. That's correct.

Q. So you would get $1,000.00 and she would get $2,000.00 credit?

A. Well she would get a month free for her boys. Whatever that amount is.

Q. And you would get $1,000.00?

A. Correct.

Q. Do you remember one of the people you got $1,000.00 for was XXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXX, who went to Casa by the Sea in May of 2001?

A. No. I don't remember that at all.

Q. Do you rmemeber one of the persons you ot money for was XXXXXX XXXX who went to Tranquility Bay in May of 2001?

A. Not at all. Not at all.

Q. Do you remember that one of the people you got $1,000.00 for was XXXXXXX XXXXXX, who went to Spring Creek Lodge in June of 2001?

A. In June - no. No.

Q. Do you remember one of the persons you got $1,000.00 for was XXXXX XXXXXXXX, who went to Majestic Ranch in June of 2001?

A. NOt at all.

Q. Do you remember you got $1,000.00 when XXXXXX XXXXX went to Carolina Springs in June of 2001?

A. No. No. I did not. I know Randall, Randall must--I mean, I didn't -- and I know Diane got herr credits. And I know Diane didn't even pay us for the last couple of months because she ran out of money. From what I recall. As a matter of fact, I had told Diane, Maybe its time to bring your boys home. So I stopped -- but I don't know what Randall did.

Q. What does Randall have to do with Diane XXXXXXXX?

A. Because Randall was handling the account of referrals. Randall, when a call would come in that had my code on it Randall would get the call. Randall handled all of my accounts.

Could someone help with the dates:

When was PURE founded?
When did she pull her child from CSA?
When did the sexual harrasment issue take place?
When did her business start providing the income that she felt was secure enough that she no longer needed to refer to WWASP programs?
When did she publically start to bash WWASP programs?

In these transcripts, is she refering to the same RANDALL who "allegedly" viciously abused the kid from Tranquility Bay. The same Randall hiding out of country so he cant be prosecuted for abuse allegations? That nice man from Utah?

She wouldnt do that would she?

Wow.  Things are becoming a little clearer now that some of this info is coming out.  Thanks to the parents who have had direct contact with PURE & Co. and are speaking out.

Don't think anyone from PURE can be talking bad about Litchfied, not NOW. Think they're all friendsy/friendsy NOW.  Mafia? nah...not if Sue is part of the deal. She wouldn't have anything to do with the Mafia type would she? Of course not, not a nice lady like her.
