I'm not trying to start off some kind of an explosion by asking this question but I'm curious...there has been a rather obvious push here lately for these two organizations.  I know nothing about them, but was just wondering what the sudden advertisement here has been about.

Me too. This just keeps getting curioser and curioser.

Faith, as well intentioned as it may be, must be built on facts, not fiction- faith in fiction is a damnable false hope.

od helps those who help themselves.                            Take marriage seriously.                             Once the Wedding Ring goes on the finger, it stays on the finger.

In 2005, a new division of Spectrum Institute, known as the Emancipation Project, is being launched.  Its mission is to liberate minors from abuse.  The Project has a special focus on the needs of juveniles who are abducted, transported to, confined in, and subjected to forced mental reprogramming in privately owned residential facilities.  Each year, thousands of troubled teenagers are sent to such facilities, without due process of law by their parents.  Some of the parents are well-intentioned but many have themselves been abusive to their children.  Unfortunately, a widespread pattern of human rights violations and abusive practices have been reported at many of these detention centers.  The Emancipation Project is working to stop these abuses, regulate this industry, promote positive alternatives, and empower survivors with legal remedies.
