That's right, Brian Rossiter was the ascent guy"s name, but he was a little red-bearded irishman, not the guy in that picture. of course, people change. that lady from wales was a nutcase.

Wow! That's weird!  Hell, this whole industry is beyond bizarre... and  kind of creepy too!

 I have a friend who is at Sagewalk in Oregon and have been trying to figure out what kind of place it is.  He (Brian Rossiter) is the program director there (or at least he was until Friday when they revamped the staff page...the picture I posted is still on their server, FWIW).

His connection to Ascent was my first "red flag" as to what kind of program they are running out there. Ascent sounds like it was awful! Apparently, after he was program director there, he moved on to Phoenix Outdoor Education Center in Vermont (also under Brown Schools) for a short time before going to Sagewalk. It seems like Pheonix closed down while he was there but I can't tell from Woodbury Reports.

What was he like? The guy in the picture is what Sagewalk put up on their staff page as "Brian Rossiter, formerly of Ascent".  If it isn't the guy... it brings Sagewalk down to a whole new level that I didn't realize existed and I don't think very highly of them to begin with!  I agree, people can change appearance-wise.  How was his personality?  That, IMO, is the harder thing to change.  Did you have a lot of contact with him personally?  Any info is greatly appreciated!

oh my god, what a fat little troll we have pictured! Brian Rossiter was a power tripping asshole (as was all the staff). All I remember is that he wasn't a team staff or group staff guy he was like an office guy who came out and yelled at you for the hell of it and then went back to his office. I think he was an admissions guy when i went there. not sure.
Oh and what was the lady from whales name? wasn't kathy or something?

didnt steve rookey's wife work with ascent? I remember a woman rookey but not sure what the relationship was. ANYWHO, I strongly disliked her and all the rookeys for the matter.
