Teen son smuggling violent video games into our home.
« on: March 03, 2005, 10:29:00 PM »
I went upstairs to see if m teen son was doing his homework with his best friend. I found them playing violent video games such as Grand Theft Auto. It troubles me deeply that he needs such entertainment such as shooting police officers to be contented. He blatantly disobeyed my house rules of no inappropiate video games of any nature.I locked up his Playstation 2 and when he gets it back, he can only play under me or his father's supervision. We feel this is no way fo a 16 year old to entertain himself.A program parent friend of mine said this could be a sign of severe mental illness that is better treated now rather than later.Did I miss anything in my discipline?Should I have thrown his Playstation 2 away?Should I ban any friends in his room?

Youre a troll, or a control freak of a mom. Grow the fuck up already.
