Is it okay to wait three days before taking them to the doctor? I mean, is this understandable, or is it child abuse?

Most doctors wont even treat a broken bone for several days anymore.  They prefer to wait until the swelling goes down before treating it.  My son broke his arm last year playing football and when I took him to the emergency room, they just did a make shift splint and told me to follow up with an orthopedic in about a week.  They no longer cast them at the hospital because of swelling.  That day when I started calling around to orthopedic's to schedule an appointment, they all said "one week" in order to allow time for the swelling to go down.  So no, it is not child abuse.

Not a troll. Someone who is confused about their childhood. Why did you think it was a troll? Is it because it sounds so unbelievable?

Borders on child abuse if the child is in pain.
Take the kid to the ER. Most ( if not all)  hospitals are required to treat reguardless of payment up front.
They will work out a payment plan that you can live with. (Been there, done that.) It will not give you bad credit unless you forget to pay. You can take years if needed, but I wouldn't reccomend it. Who needs bills hanging over their head?
Good Luck
