"Ok,

Someone tell me HOW long this site has been in existance, AND measurable accomplishments that it has provoked!  (Please don't list "survivors being able to tell their story", as one). Looking for HOW many programs have CLOSED, etc.

  Anyone know?  Willing to LIST?

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Something tells me that no answer will be satisfactory to you, Anon.  The bottom line is that only your own opinion of what has been done for the good of the cause on this site will be, well...good.  So why ask?  Answer it yourself.

If you want hard facts, spend some time reading Wes' site thoroughly.  Otherwise you are simply requesting that people voice opinions that you will never agree with, nor accept.

Keep it real, brother.

There actually are some very informative, very insightful, factual testimonies, and supportive people here. You just have to weed them out with a fine tooth comb. Basically, if you want some answers, you'll find them, but you have to look for them. If you want sheer and utter emotional instability and immaturity at 30 something and older, you'll find that more readily. The thing is, they really do go hand in hand. If you're considering putting your kid in a program, come visit some of the alumni sites to get a taste of how well these places work! "

Pssst! Over here! http://fornits.com/wwf/viewtopic.php?So ... 71&forum=9

               The body of
        Benjamin Franklin, printer,
(Like the cover of an old book,
            Its contents worn out,
And scripts of it's lettering and gilding)
       Lies Here, food for worms!
Yet the work itself shall not be lost,
For it will, as he believed, appear once more
                 In a new
         And more beautiful edition,
          Corrected and amended
                By it's Author!

Epitaph for himself.

--Benjamin Franklin 1706-1790
