We still got a long way to go we still got a long way to go we all got a long way to go
What's keeping us apart isn't selfishness what's holding us together isn't love
Listen to the man who's been touched all his life yes he's the one they call the fool
Where is that saviour of the sidewalk life and the road that takes us to the crusades
I've seen those shadows as they're moving in my sleep leading the blind poet to his grave
'cause we still got a long way to go we still got a long way to go yes we all got a long way to go
Please don't waste your energy on me my friend 'cause we still got a long way to go
We'll meet again some day but right now just go away 'cause I still got a long way to go
The silence is speaking so why am I weeping I guess I love it I love it to death
Yes we still got a long way to go yes we still got a long way to go yes we all got a long way to g

Now you've got me wanting to change the name of this forum to Love It to Death.

It has a nice ring and is shorter than Welcome to My Nightmare..

Feedback is welcome.

Maybe you could put a little blurb that this is what it's called now. I don't know about the new name. It may leave people wondering what the heck to post about or who can post.

I saw them open for the Pixies back in '92 or so.  Damn, but they kicked ass. They had Eric Drew Feldman from Beefheart's Magic Band on keyboards, and Tony Maimone (RIP) on guitar, as well as David Thomas on vox (of course).  I think they called the tour "Back to the Avant Garage" or something like that.  They were touring the "Worlds In Collision" album, which was not their finest work, by any means.
They played 'Final Solution', "Heart of Darkness', and 'Thirty Seconds Over Tokyo' as well as many others which I did not recognize at the time.  Check out "The Art of Walking" sometime.  Good stuff.

Damn good one.  I like 'Split Myself In Two" and a few others on that one whose titles escape me right now.  The whistling one is really good, too.

I remember liking the album Huevos a lot- my gf from AZ turned me on to them. This was back in the late 80's. We went to see them play live at a small club in Baltimore..they played a great set..an enjoyable show..
