Elan 7 and 8 merger?

Does anyone know why elan 7 moved into elan 8, I did a drive through the elan campus this past October and elan 7 was still standing, but vacant.  I thought maybe elan was under-enrolled?

There were many reasons for it.  Elan 8 was split up, we had a lack of leadership in our house especially for the women.  There was a need to combine the staff also.

Lack of leadership sounds like something the staff just told you all, if that was the real case they would of combined back in the mid nineties, they had to be underenrolled otherwise they would be violating the fire building codes moving a whole another house in small elaN 8

I have been curious about the merger for some time now.  Did the non communicating between houses get lifted as well?  did half go to 8 and half to 3?

Elan 8 got split to 3 `n 8.  For some reason Elan 7 all stayed together `n went to Elan 8.  The house was packed at first, but then it was like a dying breed.

How did they decide who went were?

there is no longer an elan 8. The old Elan 8 is now 7, and they refer to them as the bucs. No more bunnies. Clare is lead director with Tania, Peter r and missy also work in the new 7. 3 is still 3, headed up by Kerri....I dont know who else works at that house

yOU HAVE THAT WRONG, unless this just happened. Elan#7 is called the annex now and they store candy toiletries, ect., and everyone from there moved into e8. Thus, no more 7, all those kids must be gone by now because it was just over 2 years ago. NOW there is e-3 & e-8.

The house name is the Phoenix,  Since the restructuring Clare got rid of the Bucs.  Tania is not lead director anymore.  She just does the education part on focusing that the kids are going somewhere after Elan.  Like college or in the armed forces.  Dave McVety got moved to Elan 3 after Nick White left.

I am not prejudice, but I am so glad CLare got rid of that name....What I meant is the old Elan 8 is now called ELan 7. The building still stands, but not what it represents....

ELAN 7 MERGED INTO E-8 NOT BECAUSE THE LACK OF LEADERSHIP IN THAT HOUSE BEACUSE IF U LOOK AT IT E-7 HAD JUST AS MUCH IF NOT MORE, THE REAL REASON why they merged was because the lack of financial ground and the population and shit elan school really had at that point....how i know is because i have the letter from elan before they switched i was on a visit and my parents said i could open the mail thinkin it was one of those fuckin progress report bullshits and it wasnt it was talkin bout the houses are gona split and why  and  didnt knwo which house, but when i called i asked my staff memeber and he let me knwo what it was all bout .......now how they didnt have enough and didnt feel like havin 3 houses open and shit all the money they really had the greedy bastards their fuckin i dunno even what to call em
