I am intrigued that they are showing the Straight story on several levels -- personal, political and psychological. I hope that they will include interviews with experts. Overall it looked good, and I look forward to the release. I did not like the soundtrack music -- I think they should pick stuff that goes better with the material, something engaging. Given the subject matter and the anti-republican sentiment among many in the music industry, I think they could get some big music people to help out getting good popular music in it.

I hope the filmmakers will see the comments regarding the trailer as like us being a test audience. I am in no way trying to rain on anyone's parade, and I only wish them the best success!

who is this film company, and WHY are they doing this??  Why are they interested?  Where did they get the people who are filmed??

hmmm.. I thought, nice picture quality..I didn't notice the music.  I was intrigued to say the least.  I kept waiting to see someone I knew...and when the shot of the open meeting room came up I almost threw up.  It was visceral.  I definately want to see more.

That trashing guitarist is Dimebag Darrel.  He was recently shot and killed.
