Welcome??????????

Congratulations
on your commitment to participate in the WorldWorks Experience.

This
form is meant to assist you in your preparation for The Experience, as well
as provide WorldWorks trainers and staff with information to better serve
you. Please review this form carefully and answer each question in its
entirety.  Your forms must be completed and returned before you can begin
    the workshop.

As with
the Introductory, the Experience is effective when you are fully
responsible for your participation, value and well-being. We find that the
people who benefit most from our programs are adults who have already
achieved a certain level of accomplishment, learning and success.  This
form should help answer any questions you may have and may also help
    clarify your vision and goals.

Like
    the Introductory, the
    Experience                                                     is an
intense, highly participatory workshop designed to deal with life issues in
an honest and meaningful way.  You will be requested to participate fully,
as well as challenge yourself and others. In the Experience there is a
higher level of interpersonal activity required.  This work-         shop
is designed to be a breakthrough

environment
and will not always be comfortable.

The format of the Experience includes a variety of
breakthrough processes. Please read the descriptions in this form so that
you are fully informed and responsible with respect to your participation
in the Experience.  For those willing to "go the distance" in
    this workshop, there

is
    life-altering value.

It is
    our privilege to serve you.

The
Experience Course

???????????.

Structure
of The Experience

From the
foundation of The Intro, The Experience is a powerful workshop that requires a
high degree of personal challenge.

The types of
exercises are similar, although more rigorous, than those in The Intro.  There
are fewer lectures, more individual participation, a smaller group of
participants, and more direct interaction between the Trainer and the
participants themselves.

The format
of the workshop includes the following elements:

Ground
Rules

On the first
day, the trainer will request that you agree to a series of Ground Rules.  The
purpose of these rules is to assist a group of people in working cooperatively
within a consistent framework.

Interactive
Discussions

The trainer
will presence various topics relevant to life; in these discussions the trainer
will introduce a particular point of view about these subjects.  The purpose is
not for you to agree or disagree with what is said, but rather to assist you in
observing how you relate to these particular subjects.  In observing yourself
in the training, you can learn about your principles, commitments, and
relationships.

Dyads

A dyad is a
one-on-one interaction with another participant.  You may be asked to answer a
series of questions, tell a story, complete sentences, or assume a particular
body stance.  You will have the opportunity to look directly at personal issues
and to support your dyad partner in doing the same.

Mingles

A mingle
exercise involves moving throughout the room while having short interactions
with many people.   As in dyads, the communication you have with other people
during a mingle is structured.

Small Group Exercises

At the start
of the workshop you will choose a small group with an average of

6-10 other
participants.  During the 5 days of the workshop, you will meet with

your small
group to discuss and share what you are learning as well as to participate in
other experiential exercises.  A volunteer staff member will act as facilitator
for your group.

Closed-Eye
Processes

During a
closed-eye process the trainer will guide you through a creative
visualization.  Frequently music and the lowering of lights are used during
these processes to facilitate relaxation and promote creativity.

Sharing

Throughout
the workshop you will have the opportunity to learn about yourself through
communication:  speaking about what you are learning, and listening to the
experiences of others.  Such sharing occurs one-on-one, in small groups, or in
front of the entire workshop group.

Interactions
with the Trainer

At times you
may have direct interaction with the trainer.  The trainer will relate to you
from the perspective that you are capable of effectively handling the
circumstances in your life and that you are committed to extraordinary
accomplishment.  The trainer will also ask you to be personally responsible
rather than being powerless in the face of life's obstacles.  Interactions with
the trainer are an opportunity for you to examine the limitations of your world
view, therefore you may feel challenged, anxious or uncomfortable in going
outside your comfort zone.

Role
Playing

At some
point during the workshop, you will be involved in an individual or group role
playing exercise.  It is designed for you to discover and explore ways of being
that are powerful and effective, but which you may not be fully expressing in
your daily life.

Homework

At the close
of each day you will be given a homework assignment to be completed before the
next session begins.

Food and Rest????...

During the 5
day session, it is important that you get sufficient rest and food.  Every 2 to
4 hours there will be a 20-30 minute break.  Each day there will be an
approximately 1 1/2 hour meal break in the late afternoon.  We strongly
recommend that you do not schedule other obligations (i.e. job, school, etc.)
from Wednesday to Sunday.

Insurance???????

Due to
dramatic increases in the cost of liability insurance it is not practical for
WorldWorks to obtain this type of coverage for its courses.  During the first
day of The Experience, WorldWorks' standard release form will be presented and
explained to you.  You may request a sample of this form from us at any time.
By signing this form you will be agreeing to assume full responsibility for
your participation in the workshop, agreeing not to sue WorldWorks, and
agreeing to settle by arbitration any disputes that may arise.  This will be
explained more fully on the first day.

Disclaimers??????

The
Experience is an experiential education program designed to enhance personal
effectiveness.  It is not intended to be psychotherapy or counseling or a
substitute for psychotherapy or any kind of counseling.  WorldWorks is not a
psychological support group or a therapeutic environment.

 WorldWorks
trainings are beneficial for the vast majority of participants in terms of
increasing personal effectiveness and overall satisfaction in life, but should
not be taken to resolve emotional problems for which therapy or similar
treatments are generally used.

Psychological
disorders are not addressed in WorldWorks workshops.  WorldWorks staff are not
trained mental health professionals and they are not trained to treat
psychological problems or to provide treatment to an emotionally or
psychologically distressed person.  If that

WorldWorks Inc. - business seminar, your thoughts... Should

My opinion of it is that it seems to be one of 'those damned seminars' in some form or another. The Resource Realizations/TASKS/Kairos/whatever kind of thing.

If they start playing with your emotions or demeaning you, get the hell out of there and wheover went with you. Psychological regression is not necessary and should not be tolerated.

I would not do this!!!

*** No Christian Should ever do this!!!! ***

They claim to transform the world, yet they are only in one city... And the founder makes about 350k plus a year in the name of transformation!!! their website is http://www.worldworksinc.com .

Some will claim this is a new age cult... They are very aggressive... They curse, they humiliate, they use sleep depravation and they use group manipulation to recruit for them.... They are a slight spin-off of LifeSpring....

Check out this links on their Courses...

This is what happens at the intro!!!! They know what they are doing!!!

day4:

day5:

Their second level course that costs 1k:

http://perso.wanadoo.fr/eldon.braun/awa ... ourse1.htm

http://perso.wanadoo.fr/eldon.braun/awa ... ourse2.htm

Their third level training is very easy to explain... Its call leadership practice... Which means you are a leader by

1- enrolling people into their expensive trainings

2- accomplishing 4 goals

3- Raising money for charity....

What do you guys think?

Hmmm, I wonder if there's a book in it?

It (the Bible) is full of interest. It has noble poetry in it; and some clever fables; and some blood-drenched history; and some good morals; and a wealth of obscenity; and upwards of a thousand lies.
--Samuel Clemens "Mark Twain", American author and humorist

Its an LGA - large group awareness training. Its a "seminar". Its Brainwashing. Nobody with a mind they wish to keep to themselves should go through one, period!

BTW, do any businesses REQUIRE you to go through this crap? If so how would you legally try to avoid it? I know AA can be contested on grounds of the 1st amendment, but can they make me submit to brainwashing?

absolutely not.  You should NOT do this. The questions on the questionaire are too personal, and god damn it you are an adult! you have the right to refuse whatever you do not want to do.  If this feels iffy, than that's a gut feeling and you should go with your instinct.  do not do it.
