Just caught the movie "Marie".  It's about Marie Ragghianti before she put her kids in Sarasota.  She was the chairperson of the parole board in TN and blew the whistle on corruption in the Governors office Anyone else remember them???

Sorry Rabbit, that wasnt me.

The function of the press is very high. It is almost holy. It ought to
serve as a forum for the people, through which the people may know freely what is going on. To misstate or suppress the news is a breach of trust.

Oh yeah! Dante, Marie and... another brother. Absolutely the most beautiful people I think I've ever seen. The story goes that the authorities in TN went after Dante and that the mother put the kids in Straight to protect them from retribution.

Marie brought Ricky first then Thereas then Dante Dante from what I heard was slated for prison before he was ahhem "SAVED" by straight. He turned out ok when I saw him last in the late 80's wow how time flies... Rick was a jack ass but who can blame the guy he got hurt like the rest of us..  I know they left Sarasota Straight and went to LIFE I wonder if Thereas ever got on STAFF.
Oh well if you talk too them say hi for me.

Ah yea, Dante was a down to earth person, good people in the real sense. After the program say around 83, he and his girlfriend used to come over to my place in Sarasota to boot up, it was the first time they ever did it. He had one heck of a sexy girlfriend, I sure remember that, neat little ankle tatt of a peace sign.

I was friends with Therese at LIFE, and yes she was on Staff there (as was I).  When the movie "MARIE" came out about her mom, we all (the staff) went up to the "PREMIERE" in Tampa. VERY cool.
Went to a Halloween party a couple months later at her house, and remembering seeing the photo   of her mom with Barbara Walters next to the tv.

I believe she's still in New York now, working in design.  FYI - her brother Ricky had a BIT part in the movie, as the jogger in the park when the body (of her mom's friend is found).  Therese is in the court room scene at the end, just sitting as a spectator in the court room.

This movie is pointless and has nothing to do about Straight Inc.
