poem
« on: August 17, 2002, 11:02:00 PM »
Man in the sky
I stare past you with a distant glare.
At a glance I look as if I couldn't care. Pale and grey skull cold and dry like straw,
isn't that all they saw.
Sunken eyes dull and black, crying desperatly to take it all back.
Dark shadows sweep across this weary old soul's face.
Kind of reminds me of a familiar place.
That sad man's face so high in the sky, so many nights I've cryed and asked him why.
I too stare down at endless roads stretched across my world starting to erode.
Twisting and turning yearning for more.
Oh sure I know whats in store, this I can't ignore.
Staring down at these broken old roads, both our eyes show so much pain, realizing our world has been taken in vein.
Looking down at that crimson tide swirling and curling from side to side, we close our eyes but still can't seem to hide.
There's been so many times we've tryed and tryed and yet I still look down and see it tied.
Oh, sad old man so high in the sky I close my eyes and ask why? Why such a beautiful world would want to die.
So tonight we look to our left and look to our right but still can't get it out of our sight.Yet still hoping one day we might win this endless fight.
So tonight if you hear me shed a tear, do not try to hold me dear.
For this is my biggest fear.
We now our dreaded fate maybe so very near we may not even get to see another year.
So, sad old man so high in the sky if you can hear me say, I just ask for one more day.
(written in heroin detox 11 years after Kids of BC)sorry it was so long I had to post it.

We're going to be ok. God loves us all! Power to the kids! We will prevail. Your going to make it. I dig it very, very deep.

obviously your still a slave to Miller Newton or maybe you are Miller. Anyone who would say something like your better off high or "yo junky" belongs by Millers side. So keep being  Miller's "fluffer". Or better yet identify yourself, squirrel nuts.
