Yeh, just received the following. And these are the folks who are supposed to protect kids in their custody and monitor residential facilites. Good luck!

Parents of child, nearly 4 years old and has jev. diabetes, gave maternal grandparents legal custody so the child could be covered under their health insurance. State got involved after the child wandered out of his home. No charges were filed but DHSS told the grandparents the agency could provide better health services for the child. Grandparents were told child needed to be out of the home while a social study was done. Naive grands didn't know this was not true. Caseworker took child out of the home(no court order) and immediately got an ex parte order, stating the grands gave custody to DHSS, from a judge to place the child in foster care. Grands gave no such permission and have been fighting to have the record corrected and the child returned to them since 10/03. Their attorney states there are 36  known civil rights violations in this
case.

The judge in this case has refused to address the numerous motions filed on behalf of the grands and child. There have only been back door decisions made between DHSS, their attorney and the guardian at litem. The grands were hopefull at a recent hearing that the child would be returned as the attorney for DHSS had stated he had no objection. As in the past the judge again denied the grands and their attorney to be heard. He simply said he wasn't hearing anything and was leaving to go play golf.

This past week this fragile 4 year old was placed in a juvenile facility that houses teenagers because he was having behavoiral problems. The grands visited him and said he barely knew them and he appeared to be halllucinating. They were told he is being medicated with Concertta.

This morning the grands spoke with the pediatric diabetes specialist, who treated the child in the past, and she was shocked to learn about the child's placement and drugging. Hopefully, she will be able to intercede on behalf of this child.
The grandparents have spent 30,000 litigating since last Oct., have never been allowed to
testify and no final decision has been made. The state has unlimited resources to continue this as well as receiving federal dollars for this child who they have labeled with special needs.

Forced Drug Experiments on Black & Latino Children

Recent News have exposed the NYC Administration for Children's Services (ACS) in a scheme to force experimental and lethal drugs trials on Black & Latino Children whose Mothers tested HIV positive at delivery. I heard about this last year.  I think it's just coming to a head now.

Hopefully the legal system will sort it out and people involved will be punished severely.

One of the most disgusting aspects of this story is that minority children were singled out to become part of the "study" because they were easier to get a hold of.  Poor parents with heavy burdens don't ask too many questions...

Fucking SICK.

Concerta can cause liver damage - it should not be given to a four year old child with diabetes. This is abusive drugging of a baby.

Medicine at gunpoint: Seattle mother arrested for "kidnapping" her own baby to seek alternative treatments
Posted Friday, June 30, 2006 by Mike Adams

Gunpoint medicine is alive and well in Seattle, Washington, where county law enforcement officers, prompted by Child Protective Services (CPS), arrested and jailed 34-year-old Tina Marie Carlsen for her "crime" of rescuing her infant from overzealous hospital staff who demanded they perform kidney surgery on the infant.

Terrorized by the incident, charged with second-degree kidnapping of her own child, and threatened with bail of $500,000, Tina Carlsen was jailed for several days, during which she was unable to provide lifesaving mother's milk to her baby (which is crucial for a child's brain and immune system). She has still not been allowed physical contact with her infant son.

Carlsen's child was taken from her by Child Protective Services after she refused to drug her infant with doctor-prescribed medications in preparation for surgery to implant kidney dialysis devices. She was also reportedly threatened by a nephrologist (a kidney specialist), who, according to relatives, demanded, "You do what I tell you to do, or I will have the police at the door, taking that baby from you."

And that's exactly what happened: The doctor called Child Protective Services, and CPS won a court battle to take custody of the child based entirely on Carlsen's refusal to submit the child to conventional surgery. When Carlsen rescued her own child from the Children's Hospital and Regional Medical Center, a statewide Amber Alert was issued, which mobilized law enforcement to arrest the mother. Initially, the alert claimed the child was in "imminent danger," but this was later contradicted by hospital staff members who issued a statement admitting the child was not in imminent danger.

"This mother's rights have been annihilated," said Kelly Meinig, the president of Citizens for Safe Birth, a non-profit consumer health organization. "What's so scary is this could happen to any of us. All this family wanted was the ability to make an informed decision."

Gunpoint medicine
This incident is the latest example of state-sponsored medical terrorism where parents who do not submit to narrowly-defined "treatments" promoted by conventional medicine are branded as criminals, arrested at gunpoint, jailed and forcibly separated from their children by Child Protective Services. A previous case of medical terrorism involved a Texas teenager who was kidnapped by authorities and forced to undergo toxic chemotherapy treatments that her parents desperately insisted on avoiding.

Conventional medicine, characterized by toxic pharmaceuticals, radical surgical procedures, rampant bribery, corruption and relentless disease mongering and "sick care" profiteering, is increasingly being enforced by gunpoint in the United States. Parents who wish to protect their children from the dangers of chemotherapy, surgery or dangerous prescription drugs may find themselves accused of kidnapping their own children simply by rescuing them from the hands of surgeons and oncologists who stand to profit from every procedure performed.
Entire story here:
http://www.newstarget.com/019512.html

"Parents may be free to become martyrs themselves. But it does not follow that they are free in identical circumstances to make martyrs of their children," says the prevailing U.S. Supreme Court decision.

It was written in response to religiously based arguments against treatment, but the increasing popularity of alternative therapies may soon force courts to consider new issues in that arena. Last week, an Oregon woman hid her 4-year-old daughter from authorities for several days because the child was ill with pneumonia and her mother did not believe in using Western medicine to treat it. The woman, Jennifer Sullivan, 30, turned herself in to police last Friday.

In Riley's case, a family physician did exactly that, said the child's grandmother, Teena Thill. Twice, a nephrologist asked child-welfare authorities to investigate the family for failure to obey her medical orders, and twice, Thill said, caseworkers saw no reason to take action.

"The second social worker actually gave Tina a high-five and said, 'You're doing a wonderful job with that baby, keep up the good work,' " she said.

Carlsen had been using alternative therapies -- baths, herbs and a low-stress environment -- to heal her son, with some success, Thill added. But disputes over his care had been ongoing, almost from birth. They erupted earlier this month when his physician insisted that the baby begin a course of prescription medication to pave the way for kidney dialysis.

Another Case of Forced Medical Treatment

Virginia Teen Loses Fight to Treat Cancer his Way
Jul 21st - 6:27pm
By SONJA BARISIC
Associated Press Writer

NORFOLK, Va. - A judge ruled Friday that a 16-year-old boy fighting to use alternative treatment for his cancer must report to a hospital by Tuesday and accept treatment that doctors deem necessary, the family's attorney said.

The judge also found Starchild Abraham Cherrix's parents were neglectful for allowing him to pursue alternative treatment of a sugar-free, organic diet and herbal supplements supervised by a clinic in Mexico, lawyer John Stepanovich said.

Jay and Rose Cherrix of Chincoteague on Virginia's Eastern Shore must continue to share custody of their son with the Accomack County
Department of Social Services, as the judge had previously ordered,
Stepanovich said.

The parents were devastated by the new order and planned to appeal,
the lawyer said.

Stepanovich said he will ask a higher court on Monday to stay enforcement of the order, which requires the parents to take Abraham
to Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters in Norfolk and to give the oncologist their written legal consent to treat their son for Hodgkin's disease.

"I want to caution all parents of Virginia: Look out, because Social
Services may be pounding on your door next when they disagree with the decision you've made about the health care of your child," Stepanovich said.

Phone calls to the Cherrix home went unanswered.

The lawyer declined to release the ruling, saying juvenile court Judge Jesse E. Demps has sealed much of the case.

Social Services officials have declined to comment, citing privacy laws.

After three months of chemotherapy last year made him nauseated and
weak, Abraham rejected doctors' recommendations to go through a
second round when he learned early this year that his Hodgkin's disease, a cancer of the lymph nodes, was active again.

A social worker then asked a judge to require the teen to continue
conventional treatment. In May, the judge issued a temporary order
finding Abraham's parents neglectful and awarding partial custody to the county, with Abraham continuing to live at home with his four siblings.

Yanno, the quackery of a "organic, sugar-free diet and herbal supplements" is bullshit, but on the other hand, the kid is old enough to make his own decisions.

Im kind of torn on this. I dont like the government shoving its way into peoples personal lives and basically usurping the parents choices AND the kid's right to choose for himself, but this is probably saving his life.

At least he'll be around to be resentful

Now, lets turn this around. What if it was the government stopping parents from sending kids to overseas TBS programs?  :-?

hmmmmmmmm............. I bet there would be a lot of "FAMILY" vacations to Jamacia if that was the case then Niles.

God it would give me a hard on to watch them spring the USS Iowa out of mothball and cruise it down to TB and unleash a salvo or two of 16 inch naval shells on that place after it has been evacuated by a Marine Landing Team.

Of course.. It would give me a woody to watch them blow up just about anything with a 16 inch naval shell.

I'd satisfy for stuart little burping after eating a pop-rock on a paper boat if those kids weren't being hurt anymore.

But hey, if we're into drama, why stop there? Id love to see a MOAB obliterate every abusive program in existance and everyone with their fingers in it hanging from crosses for miles along the National Mall with every politician involved in handcuffs trying to explain themselves in a news conference.

But, oh well, that'll never happen, unless I become king tomorrow.
